Descrizione
Originally developed for keyboards, but just as effective alongside a guitar, bass, or other instruments, the EHX Operation Overlord Allied Overdrive comes equipped with JFET gain stages ready to coat the signal with tube-style distortion. Kitted out with a three-band EQ section, a Dry, Volume, Gain, and Boost pot, you're handed full control over the ultimate in stompbox-based overdrive, while a set of stereo input and outputs back everything up with full connection flexibility.

Deze pedaal is 1 van de weinige stereo overdrives/distortions. Ik kocht 'm om mijn Elektron Machinedrum op te pompen, niet voor gitaar. Helaas zit er een high-pass filter op de input waardoor het laag van kick drums en dergelijke compleet uitgefilterd wordt. De pedaal heeft een 'low' toonregelaar maar 'mid-low' zou accurater zijn. Laag laat ie niet door, ook niet met de wet/dry knop op 100% dry. Dus niet bruikbaar met drum machines etc waar veel laag uit komt.
Klinkt overigens prima op gitaar, waarvoor ik 'm toch ga houden.
